Wellllll, I am now picking up all of my scribbles and throwing them in the trash. Kidding!
I am lost for words! This was absolutely incredible and so spot on. Every line was absolute perfection.
We can scroll and see the most insane and depraved shit online, then close our eyes, and our phones and sleep soundly. What used to keep us up at night is now 'old hat' while scrolling.
We just want more and more and more.
I loved and appreciated and respected this piece. Thank you for bringing it into the world.
Sarah, thank you. I appreciate your kindness more than I can say. I’m grateful you read it and I’m really glad it landed. And please don’t throw out your scribbles. That’s where the good stuff lives. ❤️
Wow again. In a lot of ways this is a gut punch about culture, social media, and the world. This is an incredibly dark story, but true to a lot of what's happening. I'm glad for the glimmer of redemption, that Rebecca got out of the trap, Dr Chen quit the racket, and David saw through it all. The downside is that there's no shortage of girls to feed this machine and no shortage of men to run it and stand in line to pay.

Wow. I want to crack some lame-start Dad joke to break the tension I feel in most of my being but... there's nothing.
Totally fair. Even the dad jokes saw this coming and stayed in the car. Thanks for sitting with it.
I thought your story about the guy who hung out with homeless people under the bridge was my favorite... until I read Valentine.
Thank you so much that means the world! And I agree, this story challenged me in the best way.
Omg, read the first line and I’m not sure I have the stomach to read the rest.
You’re a very good writer that brings us into the scene well.
Thank you very much, that speaks volumes and means more than you know.
Your writing challenges society in the best way. I am picking up on themes in your work. I like it. Well written piece.
Thanks for reading. I’m just following the threads that won’t leave me alone. I’m glad they connected for you.

Thank you! This story has been living in my head for a long time now and I’m grateful it resonated.
